Description

American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of acute care and inpatient rehab experience for a 13-week travel assignment in Dallas, TX.

Details

• Inpatient physical therapy unit within a large 899-bed hospital
• Day shift schedule, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
• Patient ratio of approximately 12–14 patients per therapist
• Float coverage required across rehab and acute care areas
• Weekend rotation required, with at least 2 weekend days per 4-week block
• Holiday coverage is expected
• EMR system: Meditech

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care physical therapy experience required
• Inpatient rehab, acute care, and/or SNF experience required
• Active PT license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required (two required if licensed in Florida or Missouri)
• Must have active experience in the specialty within the last 6 months
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• ICU experience preferred
• Wound care experience preferred

• Primary responsibilities include evaluation and treatment of patients across acute care and inpatient rehab settings
• Candidates should demonstrate a positive, collaborative, and proactive communication style
• Hunter green scrubs required
• No artificial nails, dip nails, or gel nails; nails must be kept short
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates will not be considered
