Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with acute rehab experience for a 13-week acute care hospital assignment in California.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting, PT unit
• Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience required
• Acute rehab experience required
• Current CA PT license required (license required if applicable)
• Current BLS certification required, AHA-issued and in hand at time of submission
• 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include assessing, planning, organizing, and participating in rehabilitative programs to improve patient mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and address disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury
• Provides clinical supervision of PT assistants and aides, and serves as clinical instructor for assigned students
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel pay rates
• Previous employees of this facility must have been away for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved during the contract
