American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient position requiring at least 1 year of outpatient experience and an active AZ license prior to start.

Outpatient physical therapy setting

Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
-
Patient population includes general outpatient, injured workers, and work hardening/return-to-work cases

13-week contract

Minimum 1 year of experience in an outpatient PT setting required

Active Arizona PT license required prior to start date; proof of pending licensure acceptable at time of consideration

Current BLS certification required if applicable

License required if applicable

Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients via physician referral or direct access, establishing and supervising PT plans of care for PTAs and PT technicians

Role involves treating injured workers and familiarity with ACOMP systems for return-to-work planning
-
Competency in modalities, exercise equipment, post-offer testing (e.g., WorkSTEPS, APET), Work Hardening Evaluations, FCEs, and ergonomic evaluations is expected

Administrative duties include scheduling, answering phones, taking referrals, and utilizing billing codes for various payer types

Regular communication with referring physicians, rehab nurses, case managers, and insurance representatives is expected

May assist with business development, marketing to referral sources, and community outreach when patient load allows
