American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient clinic position in Billings, MT, requiring a minimum of 1 year of PT experience with a strong orthopedic focus.

Outpatient clinic setting with a focus on orthopedic, sports medicine, and geriatric patient populations
-
Common conditions treated include low back pain, sciatica, total hip and knee replacements, post-op shoulder and spinal surgery, DDD, DJD, and various extremity injuries and tendinopathies

Primary charting system is Cerner; experience required

Cedaron EMR experience is preferred

Schedule is 4x10-hour day shifts, 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM
-
No floating to other units or affiliate facilities unless agreed upon during interview or offer

Minimum 1 year of outpatient PT experience required; new grads with strong orthopedic clinical rotation focus may be considered

MT State PT License required; license may be pending at time of consideration or applied for immediately upon offer acceptance

Current BLS certification required

Cerner EMR experience required

Proficiency in orthopedic assessment and treatment, including AROM/AAROM/PROM, extremity mobilization, gait training, lumbar traction, and functional capacity examinations

Experience with assistive devices including walkers, crutches, gait belts, traction tables, and shoulder slings

Trauma Level I or II experience preferred

Candidates must reside 75+ miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted

Responsibilities include patient evaluation, plan of care development, short- and long-term goal setting, reassessments, discharge planning, and home exercise program instruction

Patient and family education is an expected component of daily practice

Billing knowledge, including Medicare B, is expected; Workers' Compensation billing experience is preferred

Travel experience is not required for this position

Current permanent employees of the facility must have a two-year break before being eligible
