American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist with pediatric outpatient experience for a 13-week travel assignment in Juneau, AK.

Serves a wide range of ages with varying diagnoses and conditions

Both inpatient and outpatient populations may be encountered as assigned
-
Schedule is 40 hours per week; shifts vary Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–6:00 PM and Saturday 8:00 AM–1:00 PM

Minimum 1 year of experience in adult outpatient rehab; pediatric PT experience required

Entry-level qualifying master's or doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program, or a master's/bachelor's degree from an APTA-approved program with 2 years of proven work and continuing education experience demonstrating doctoral-level knowledge

Active Alaska PT license required at time of consideration — license required if applicable

Current BLS certification required

Valid driver's license required

Responsibilities include PT evaluations, treatment planning, and implementing individualized plans of care across a variety of diagnoses

Oversees and directs the work of Physical Therapist Assistants and other designated support staff, students, or interns

Collaborates with interdisciplinary team members, referring providers, and families to coordinate care and discharge planning
-
Develops and delivers patient and family education, including clear home exercise programs with return demonstration

Assists with acquisition, fitting, and maintenance of durable medical equipment
-
Participates in care conferences, rounds, and provides therapy consultations and in-services to medical staff as assigned

Adheres to APTA regulatory and practice standards and maintains clinical space cleanliness and supply levels
