Travel Plaza Cashier
Job Description:
As a Travel Plaza Cashier at Onvo, you will be the face of our service, responsible for processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently, maintaining a clean and organized sales area, and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Accurately process all customer purchases using a point-of-sale (POS) system, including fuel, merchandise, and food items.
- Handle cash, credit card, and other payment methods, ensuring correct change is given and transactions are balanced.
- Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and provide assistance with product location or information.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including stocking shelves, facing products, and cleaning counters.
- Assist with receiving and stocking merchandise as needed.
- Monitor fuel pumps and assist customers with fueling procedures or issues.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to age-restricted sales (e.g., tobacco, alcohol).
- Resolve customer complaints or escalate issues to management as necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Job Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
