Description

American Traveler is seeking a PTA for an Acute Care Hospital position at a Level 3 Trauma Center in Oklahoma, requiring Epic experience and a minimum of two prior travel assignments.

Details

  • Acute care hospital setting at a Level 3 Trauma Center with 171 staffed beds
  • Floats between inpatient and outpatient settings as needed to meet facility demands
  • Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00–16:30 or 9:00–17:30 depending on department need
  • One Saturday per month required
  • Documents and charts using Epic
  • Scrub color varies by unit
  • Free parking on-site
  • Local candidates are accepted

Requirements

  • Current Oklahoma PTA state license required (license required if applicable)
  • Minimum 1 year of acute care experience required
  • Minimum 1 year of outpatient experience required
  • Epic experience required, preferably used in Oklahoma and within the last year
  • Pending licenses are not accepted
  • Minimum of two successful travel assignments required with no prior performance or attendance issues — first-time travelers will not be considered

Additional Information

  • Candidates must complete all assigned onboarding modules prior to their start date
  • The facility enforces a zero-fault attendance policy — any missed shift, regardless of reason, is considered unexcused; two missed shifts result in a warning and three or more may result in contract cancellation
  • RTO is capped at 5 days for the 13-week assignment; no additional RTO requests will be considered after the time of submission or during the contract
  • No RTO will be approved the day before, the day of, or the day after a holiday
  • No blocked or special scheduling requests will be accommodated
  • No background hits are permitted
  • Candidates who have previously worked at this facility should be noted
