Description

American Traveler is seeking a PTA for an outpatient position in Michigan, with a minimum of 1 year of experience and a strong background in orthopedic and neurological cases.

Details

• Outpatient setting within a hospital-based rehabilitation unit
• Patient population includes post-surgical, total joints, orthopedics, neuro, amputee, general medical, cardiac, and pulmonary disease cases
• Average daily patient load of 8–10 patients
• Day shift schedule: Monday–Thursday 8:30 AM–5:15 PM and Friday 8:30 AM–3:45 PM
• No call, weekend, or float requirements

Requirements

• Active Michigan PTA license required (license required if applicable)
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• Minimum 1 year of PTA experience required
• Recent acute care experience required
• Strong proficiency in orthopedic and neurological cases required

• Must be available for a full week of orientation at the start of the assignment
