Pay Range: $65-$70hourly (Travel - $2,340.00- $2,520.00 weekly)

Job Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg Tele for an exciting job in Syracuse, NY.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care on med/surg and telemetry units.
• Conduct nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Monitor, interpret, and document telemetry rhythms and patient responses.
• Administer medications, initiate IVs, and perform lab draws as needed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal care coordination.
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition.
• Document care accurately using EPIC EMR.
• Educate patients and families on treatment and discharge care.
• Work every other weekend and select holidays as scheduled.

Qualifications:

• License: Active NY RN License (required).
• Certifications: AHA BLS (required).
• Experience:
  • 1.5–2 years of recent acute care experience (within the last 2 years).
  • Level 1 or 2 trauma experience preferred.
  • EPIC EMR experience preferred.
• Skills: Proficient in telemetry monitoring, IV insertion, phlebotomy, and strong clinical assessment.
