Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 5+ years of experience and Level 2 NICU competency for a 13-week night shift contract in Colorado.

Details

• 3x12-hour night shifts per week with no on-call requirement
• Cardiopulmonary/Respiratory Therapy department serving patients of all ages and all acuity levels
• Includes Level 2 NICU patient population
• Strong critical care and ventilator case mix
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required; CRT candidates will not be considered
• Minimum 5 years of experience required
• Valid Colorado Registered Respiratory Therapist license (DORA-RT) in good standing required; license required if applicable
• Neonatal and pediatric experience required, including Level 2 NICU
• Strong critical care and ventilator skills required
• Completion of an approved Respiratory Therapy program as required for licensure
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP (AAP)
• Flu vaccine required; no exemptions
• Candidate's permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility
• DOB or SSN required for consideration
• Skill sheet, copies of all AHA certifications, active CO RT license, resume, and proof of flu vaccine required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide respiratory care and diagnostic procedures for cardiopulmonary patients across all ages and acuity levels, including Level 2 NICU
• Local candidates are not accepted; permanent address must be 75+ miles from the facility
