Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week rotating shift assignment at a healthcare facility in Colorado.

Details

• Cardiopulmonary/Respiratory Therapy department
• Diverse inpatient and outpatient patient population, including neonates and high-risk deliveries
• Outpatient testing services including stress tests, pulmonary function tests, and EEG testing
• Rotating shifts

Requirements

• Unrestricted license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist (RT) in the State of Colorado, or ability to obtain prior to start date — license required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of well-rounded RT experience with a diverse patient population
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP Advanced Provider
• DOB and SSN may be required for consideration

Additional Information

• Experience with high-risk deliveries and neonates is preferred
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred
• Housing in the area is notably expensive; nearby towns such as Basalt, Carbondale, and Glenwood Springs may offer more affordable options, though costs can still be significant (e.g., ~$3,500/month for a 1BR in Basalt)
• Travelers are responsible for securing their own housing
