Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist with a minimum of 2 years of specialty experience for a 13-week day shift contract at a hospital respiratory care and diagnostic services unit in Atlanta, GA.

Details

• Position is in a hospital respiratory care and diagnostic services unit
• 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, with varying days
• 3 shifts per week on a 13-week contract
• No on-call requirement

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy specialty
• RRT credential through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) required
• Credentialed as a Registered or Certified Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) through the Georgia Composite State Board of Medical Examiners
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• License required if applicable
• Valid Driver's License required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Former permanent staff returning as travelers must have a 2-year break in employment at this facility before being considered
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront — requests cannot be made after an offer is accepted
• Former staff returning as travelers (non-local) must take a 2-year break prior to being considered
