American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or CRT for a 13-week travel assignment at a 99-bed hospital, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and proficiency in vent management and neonatal-to-geriatric patient care.

99-bed acute care hospital facility
-
Respiratory Therapy department serving a neonate-to-geriatric patient population
-
Neonatal and pediatric cases are non-critical; critical neonatal and pediatric cases are transferred out
-
Procedures include EKGs, ventilator management, intubation/extubation assistance, CPAP/BiPAP setup and maintenance, and ABG/VBG collection and analysis
-
Equipment includes Puritan ventilators and V60 CPAP
-
Charting via QuadraMed EHR with BCMA and T-Systems
-
12-hour day or night shifts; schedule may vary
-
Some weekend work required

On-call required as needed

No floating to other units

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required; Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) will also be considered

Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience

Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP

License required if applicable

2 professional references required for consideration: 1 from a supervisor within the last 12 months of relevant experience, and 1 from a peer or supervisor in the specialty within the last 3 years

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Orientation includes HR prerequisite training followed by workflow and equipment training within the department

Clean scrubs required; no specific color requirement
