Description

American Traveler is seeking a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) for a night shift travel assignment at a regional medical center in Moberly, MO, with 1+ year of experience required.

Details

• Work setting spans the entire hospital, including the ED, ACU, CCU, and SBHU
• Respiratory therapy duties include managing ventilators, administering breathing treatments/nebulizers, and obtaining ABGs
• EMR system: EDIS/MedHost
• Night shift hours: 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Associate's degree required
• CRT credential required; RRT also accepted
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in respiratory therapy
• BLS required; no certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
• ACLS and PALS preferred
• License required if applicable
• Valid driver's license required for consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with pulmonary disorders, collecting and analyzing sputum, blood, and breath specimens, and assessing lung capacity
• RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
