American Traveler is seeking a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) with 2+ years of experience for a night shift position at a Level III Trauma Center and teaching hospital in North Carolina.

Short-term acute care hospital setting with 733 staffed beds

Level III Trauma Center and teaching hospital

Patient population includes both adults and pediatric patients, primarily in ICU settings
-
Night shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
-
Every other weekend required

Holiday coverage is required; only 1 holiday off may be approved per contract

Floating within the hospital or to a sister campus may be required based on facility needs
-
On-call is not required

Charting system: Epic (experience required)

Block scheduling is not available

Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience

Comfortable working with both adult and pediatric ICU patients

Active state or compact CRT license required; pending licensure is not accepted — license required if applicable

Epic EMR experience required

SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the main campus to be eligible for this position

Solid black or black-and-white scrubs required

Pre-start online modules must be completed prior to first day (estimated 4–10 hours)

RTO is limited to a maximum of 4 days per contract; approval is at the manager's discretion

Travelers who have previously worked at this facility must have been gone for at least 1 year before returning

Night shift travelers may extend up to twice before being required to leave for a minimum of 6 months prior to returning

Any missed shifts due to call-out may require a makeup shift at the department's discretion
