Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT, or CRT with 10+ years of experience) with at least 5 years of experience for a 13-week adult respiratory therapy assignment covering general floor and ICU settings.

Details

• Hospital-based position covering general medical floor and ICU settings
• Primarily adult patient population
• Shifts are 12 hours, rotating/variable
• 36 hours per week
• 4 or more RTs scheduled per shift
• No holiday or on-call requirements
• Equipment used includes Servo I, S, and U ventilators, V60, HT-70, ResMed, Optiflow, Volara, and Therapy Vest

Requirements

• RRT required; CRT candidates considered only with 10+ years of experience
• Minimum 5 years of respiratory therapy experience
• Active Virginia (VA) RT license required if applicable
• Current certifications: AHA ACLS and AHA BLS

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include aerosol therapy, BiPAP, ABG, ventilator management, HFNC, CPT, COPD education, respiratory assessment, airway management, and Nitric Oxide administration
• Steel grey scrubs required
