American Traveler is seeking a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT) for a 13-week NICU night shift assignment requiring an Arkansas RRT state license and at least 1 year of acute care experience.

NICU-based position at an acute care medical center
-
RTs rotate through multiple units including NICU, ICU, COVID units, ER, medical floor, and nursery
-
Level 2 nursery with attendance at high-risk deliveries such as C-sections, including infant stabilization and ventilator placement
-
Procedures include vent management, O2 therapy, airway management, respiratory treatments, suctioning, ABG draws, EKGs, and high-risk delivery support

Nursery equipment includes RAM cannula, Vapotherm, and heated nasal cannulas
-
Night shift: 7p–7a (3x12-hour shifts)

Weekend work required

CRT or RRT credential required
-
Arkansas RRT state license required (license required if applicable)

Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute care setting

ER and ICU experience required

Current BLS certification required

ACLS and PALS preferred

NRP preferred
-
Bedside PFT and bronchoscopy experience preferred

Nursery experience preferred

Candidate must reside at least 100 miles from the facility

Two professional references required for consideration

Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Scrub color requirement: ceil blue and/or black

Infants placed on ventilators in the nursery are typically not kept on vent support longer than 24 hours
