Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with Level 4 NICU experience for a night shift travel assignment at a children's hospital NICU.

Details

• Position is located within a children's hospital NICU
• Level 4 NICU setting
• Night shift hours, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Schedule options of 3x12 or 4x12 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required
• Unit uses a self-scheduling model
• 13-week contract
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active RRT credential required (must be in-hand; pending not accepted)
• Current VA license required, or a valid out-of-state license with the ability to obtain a VA temporary license prior to start date — license required if applicable
• BLS and NRP certifications required
• Minimum Level 4 NICU experience required
• Adult Critical Care Specialist (ACCS) certification preferred
• Cardiac PICU experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide respiratory therapy care to critically ill neonatal patients in a Level 4 NICU
• Candidates may be floated in accordance with their clinical experience
• No radius rule — local candidates are welcome to apply
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must wait 12 months before returning as a traveler
• Up to 40 hours of RTO available per 13-week contract
• Any planned time off should be communicated prior to the start of the assignment
