Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with NICU/PICU experience for a night/day rotating shift position at a pediatric children's hospital in Boston.

Details

• Pediatric hospital setting in a NICU unit
• Shift rotation between days (7:00–19:00) and nights (19:00–7:00) based on department needs, with efforts to limit mid-week rotations unless requested
• 36 hours per week, three 12-hour shifts
• Every other weekend required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active RRT credential required; CRT not accepted
• MA state license required if applicable; pending MA license considered
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2–3 years of respiratory therapy experience, with at least 1 year in PICU or Pediatric CVICU
• Prior travel assignment experience required
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are subject to a local pay rate

Additional Information

• Provide respiratory therapy services to critically ill neonatal and pediatric patients in a NICU setting
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are considered local and will receive a different pay rate than traveling candidates
