American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with Level IV NICU experience for a night shift travel assignment at a Magnet-designated academic medical center in Washington State.

Work in a 637-bed short-term acute care, Magnet-designated teaching hospital
-
Assignment covers Level IV NICU, adult ICU, and adult floor respiratory therapy
-
Level IV NICU patient population with additional adult patient coverage
-
Uses Epic for charting (preferred but not required)

Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30
-
Weekends required as needed by the unit

Floating within the hospital required; no floating to sister hospitals
-
No on-call requirement

Block scheduling is not available
-
Current RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) credential required
-
Minimum 2 years of experience with Level IV NICU experience required

Washington State Respiratory Care license required (pending license not accepted)

Current BLS certification required
-
COVID vaccination and booster required — no exceptions

At least 2 completed travel assignments beyond initial hospital employment

Teaching hospital and trauma hospital experience preferred

Epic EMR experience preferred

Local candidates are accepted at the same rates with no radius restriction

RTO is capped at 1 week maximum for the duration of the assignment; RTO cannot be requested during orientation week

Prior UW staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 18 months before being considered for a travel position

Scrubs in any color are acceptable; scrubs are provided for OR personnel

Parking is available on-site at a daily cost to the traveler
