American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a Level I Trauma pediatric hospital's NICU, requiring 2+ years recent RRT experience and PALS certification.

Pediatric hospital setting within the NICU unit

Level I Trauma center
-
Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
-
Every other weekend (EOW) required
-
Holiday coverage required
-
Must be willing to float to sister facilities and to the ED and ICU

Epic EMR experience required
-
Uses V-60, Servo-i, Drager, Hamilton T-1, Vapotherm, and Optiflow equipment

Minimum 2 years of recent RRT experience required

Pediatric (PEDS) experience required
-
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential with proof of certification required
-
Georgia Respiratory Care Professional license required (license required if applicable)

Copy of diploma or associate degree program with RRT credentials required

BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA only) certifications required

Skills in FM-Intermediate/Advanced, ventilator management, and triage required

Minimal to no time off requested during the assignment

Provide respiratory therapy services to critically ill pediatric patients in a high-acuity NICU setting

Work as part of a multidisciplinary pediatric critical care team

Facility conducts nicotine/cotinine testing as part of a nicotine-free campus policy
-
First-time travelers are accepted if resume demonstrates required skills and experience

Medication pass/fail test administered, with a second attempt allowed if needed
