Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a night shift adult critical care position requiring RRT certification and 2+ years of experience including critical care.

Details

• Work in a hospital respiratory therapy department covering adult patients
• NICU experience is highly preferred
• Provide respiratory therapy across various critical care units, including adult and pediatric emergency room settings
• Perform ventilator management, arterial blood gases, CPAP/BIPAP, O2 therapy, CPT, and aerosolized medication administration
• Participate in CPR/code team response
• Utilize computerized documentation systems
• Night shift hours from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 36 hours per week with every other weekend required

Requirements

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required
• CPR certification via AHA required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience including critical care
• Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
• Comparable facility size experience required
• MD state license required if applicable
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient respiratory care treatments and assist in evaluating patients with respiratory illness
• Work within a hospital respiratory therapy team
• Local candidates are not accepted for this position due to a 60-mile radius requirement
