American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with pediatric, NICU, and adult ER & critical care experience for a 13-week day shift travel assignment at a regional medical center.

Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)

Serves a mixed patient population including pediatric, NICU, and adult critical care and emergency patients
-
Respiratory care is delivered across all care sites within the facility

Active RRT license required (no pending licenses); license required if applicable

Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required

Minimum 2 years of experience in a US hospital setting in a respiratory therapy specialty

Experience in pediatric, NICU, and adult ER & critical care settings is required

US Social Security Number required for consideration

Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the previous 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

Administers respiratory care per physician prescription, including diagnostic evaluation, patient management, education, rehabilitation, and cardiopulmonary care

Responsibilities include obtaining and analyzing physiological specimens, interpreting physiologic data, and performing cardiopulmonary tests and studies

Applies and monitors medical gases, environmental control systems, mechanical ventilatory support, artificial airway care, bronchopulmonary hygiene, and pharmacological agents related to respiratory care

Provides hemodynamic cardiovascular support and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation

All certifications must be from the American Heart Association (AHA)
