Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with pediatric experience for a night shift travel assignment at a pediatric specialty hospital in New Jersey.

Details

• Pediatric respiratory therapy unit at a children's specialty hospital
• Patient population includes infants, pediatric, and adolescent patients
• Ventilator management is a core component of the role
• Charting system: Epic
• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (3x12-hour shifts)
• Every other weekend required (Saturday and Sunday)
• 13-week contract, 36 hours per week

Requirements

• Active NJ or Compact RRT license required at time of consideration — license required if applicable
• CRT or RRT credential accepted
• NBRC certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1.5 years of respiratory therapy experience required
• Experience with ventilator management required
• First-time travelers are accepted for this position

Additional Information

• Scrubs: any color
• Local candidates are accepted
• Former RWJBH staff (full-time or PRN) must have been separated from the RWJBH health system for a minimum of 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted and approved prior to an offer being extended
• Two current professional references required for consideration
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
