American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with pediatric experience, including NICU or PICU background, for a night shift travel assignment at a children's hospital in Indiana.

Pediatric respiratory therapy unit at a children's hospital in Indiana
-
Home unit (NICU, PICU, or general Peds) will be assigned upon arrival based on facility need
-
Primary placement in Labor & Delivery (L&D)
-
May float between PICU, NICU, and Peds units, as well as to an affiliate hospital
-
Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:00
-
Every other weekend required
-
Uses Cerner for charting
-
Active Indiana RN license required; Indiana temporary license accepted if candidate has applied for both temp and permanent
-
Indiana state license required if applicable
-
Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NBRC RRT, and NRP (NRP can be obtained upon offer if not yet held)

PALS preferred
-
Education must be accredited by CoARC and regionally accredited by CHEA
-
Minimum 18 months to 2 years of respiratory therapy experience required

Children's hospital experience within the last 3 years required
-
NICU or PICU experience required
-
L&D experience required

Level 1 adult facility experience also considered

Cerner charting experience required

AHA or RQI certifications accepted and must be current

First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Local candidates are accepted for this Allied position

Candidates must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays

Up to 5 days of RTO may be auto-approved

Former permanent or PRN employees of this facility must have a 12-month gap before applying as a traveler
