Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 3+ years of experience in acute, trauma, ED, and critical care for a pediatric night shift travel position at a multi-campus hospital system in Oregon.

Details

  • Pediatric respiratory therapy unit within a multi-campus hospital system
  • Critical access hospital environment requiring the ability to work independently
  • Patient population spans pediatric, adult critical care, and emergency department settings; NICU and pediatric critical care experience preferred
  • Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
  • Block schedule format
  • Weekend requirement of at minimum every other weekend, with potential for more based on operational need
  • Floating required across all 4 campus locations: Bend, Redmond, Prineville, and Madras
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • On-call is voluntary only

Requirements

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
  • Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, PALS
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in acute care, trauma, emergency department, and critical care settings
  • Proficiency in adult critical care, emergency department, and pediatric respiratory therapy
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Must be able to work independently in a critical access hospital environment
  • Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility; proof of address required for consideration
  • First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
  • License required if applicable

Additional Information

  • Provide respiratory therapy services across pediatric and adult critical care, trauma, and emergency department settings
  • Must be prepared to float across four campus locations within scope of practice
  • NICU and pediatric critical care experience is preferred
  • Maximum of 7 days of requested time off (RTO) for the duration of the assignment; all scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of application
  • Pending license accepted
