American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 2+ years of experience for a night shift position involving advanced procedures including ECMO, bronchoscopy, and lung transplant support.

Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
-
Inpatient respiratory therapy unit with exposure to Neuro Diagnostics
-
Advanced procedures include bedside bronchoscopy, bedside percutaneous/cricothyrotomy tracheostomies, ECMO, nitric oxide, Veletri, and lung transplant support
-
ER and Level II Trauma services supported
-
Floating within scope required to meet facility needs

Charting performed in Epic
-
Black scrubs required

Block scheduling requests are not accepted

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
-
Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) licensure required by the appropriate state department — license required if applicable

BLS certification required
-
Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience required

Active (non-pending) state license required for consideration

Valid driver's license or state-issued ID and a utility bill in the traveler's name with a matching address from within the last 3 months are required for consideration

2 supervisory references required for consideration

Copies of certifications required for consideration

Permanent address must be greater than 75 miles from the facility

Former permanent staff members must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment

RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer per 13-week assignment; no holiday or blackout date requests will be accepted

Local candidates are not eligible — permanent address must be outside the 75-mile radius
-
Floating may be required to other facilities within a 75-mile radius
