Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with at least 1 year of experience for a 13-week day shift contract in a Pulmonary Diagnostics unit.

• Day shift hours: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience
• National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) certification required
• BLS certification required; must be American Heart Association (AHA)
• License required if applicable
• Valid US Social Security Number and US home address required
• 2 professional references required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
• Skills checklist required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assess patients for appropriate type and frequency of treatment and develop individualized plans of care based on diagnosis
• Implement and monitor patient care plans and associated equipment
• Perform advanced respiratory care modalities and administer medications and treatments based on patient outcomes
• Respond to emergency resuscitation team codes
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and connect them with community support resources
