American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 2+ years of experience including NICU, ICU, and ED backgrounds for a 13-week night shift contract in Fort Worth, TX.

Full-service hospital setting in Fort Worth, TX

Respiratory Therapy department with NICU focus
-
Night shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
-
Every other weekend required
-
No on-call requirements
-
Procedures performed include ABGs, assist with intubation, nebulizer treatments, Metaneb, IPPB, and CPT
-
Experience with all age ranges of patients required
-
Charting via Meditech; experience preferred
-
Experience with Servo I ventilator and I-Stat preferred
-
RRT credential required; license required if applicable
-
Minimum 2 years of hospital experience

NICU experience required
-
ICU experience required
-
ED experience required
-
Ability to draw ABGs required
-
Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted)

Current ACLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted)

NRP (Advanced 9th Edition, American Academy of Pediatrics) required for RT staff caring for neonates

Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start

US SSN and DOB required for consideration
-
One professional reference required (two required if from Florida or Missouri)
-
No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
-
Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted

Black scrubs required and must be purchased by the candidate
-
No artificial, gel, or next-gen nails permitted
-
Hair must be neat and pulled back if shoulder length or longer; no extreme styles or colors
-
Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited, including nose and tongue rings
-
Body art should be covered whenever possible

Allied health candidates must have at least 6 months of experience within the last 6 months in the role for which they are applying
