Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 2+ years of experience, including pediatric and OB exposure, for a night shift travel assignment at a community hospital in Lander, WY.

Details

• Night shift hours, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 13-week travel assignment
• Respiratory Therapy department at a community hospital
• Serves both inpatient and outpatient populations, including pediatric and OB patients
• Weekend work every other weekend
• Holiday coverage required

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent RT experience
• Experience with pediatric and OB patients required
• NBRC RRT certification required
• Active WY RT license required (license required if applicable)
• Current AHA certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS
• No certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
• Full U.S. SSN required
• Date of birth required for consideration
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include ventilator management, airway maintenance, intubation, arterial line insertion, delivery of medicated aerosols, pulmonary function studies, cardiac and pulmonary stress tests, and blood gas analysis
• Assists physicians with both invasive and non-invasive procedures
• Follows protocols approved by medical staff and department policies to provide timely diagnostic and therapeutic services
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility may be subject to a local pay rate
• First-time travelers will be considered provided all other requirements are met
• RQI and RCIS certifications for BLS and ACLS are not accepted
