American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 2+ years of experience, including pediatric and OB exposure, for a night shift travel assignment at a community hospital in Lander, WY.

Night shift hours, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
-
13-week travel assignment
-
Respiratory Therapy department at a community hospital
-
Serves both inpatient and outpatient populations, including pediatric and OB patients
-
Weekend work every other weekend
-
Holiday coverage required
-
Minimum 2 years of recent RT experience
-
Experience with pediatric and OB patients required
-
NBRC RRT certification required
-
Active WY RT license required (license required if applicable)

Current AHA certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS
-
No certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the assignment start date

Full U.S. SSN required

Date of birth required for consideration

No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Responsibilities include ventilator management, airway maintenance, intubation, arterial line insertion, delivery of medicated aerosols, pulmonary function studies, cardiac and pulmonary stress tests, and blood gas analysis

Assists physicians with both invasive and non-invasive procedures

Follows protocols approved by medical staff and department policies to provide timely diagnostic and therapeutic services

Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility may be subject to a local pay rate
-
First-time travelers will be considered provided all other requirements are met

RQI and RCIS certifications for BLS and ACLS are not accepted
