Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 3+ years of acute, trauma, ED, and critical care experience for a night shift travel assignment at a multi-campus critical access hospital system in Oregon.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting within a critical access hospital system spanning four campus locations (Bend, Redmond, Prineville, and Madras)
• Floating to all four campus locations is required to meet facility needs
• Patient population includes adult critical care, emergency department, and pediatric patients
• NICU and pediatric critical care cases are also part of the work environment
• Block schedule; night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (18:00–06:30)
• Weekend work required at minimum every other weekend, with potential for more based on operational need
• On-call is voluntary only
• Epic EMR experience required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of RRT experience in acute care, trauma, ED, and critical care settings
• Must be capable of working independently in a critical access hospital environment
• Active RRT credential required
• Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, PALS
• Proficiency in adult critical care and emergency department skills required; NICU and pediatric critical care experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility; proof of address required for consideration
• Oregon RN/RT license required if applicable

Additional Information

• Provide respiratory therapy services across acute, critical care, emergency, and pediatric patient populations
• Must be prepared to support multiple campus locations as operational needs dictate
• Pending license will be accepted
• RTO is limited to 7 days for the duration of the contract; all scheduling requests must be submitted upfront
