American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with adult ICU/ED and NICU Level III experience for a 32-week night shift travel assignment at an academic teaching hospital in Vermont.

Inpatient Respiratory Care Services unit at an academic teaching hospital
-
Patient populations include adult ICU, ED, and NICU Level III; PICU experience preferred
-
12-hour night shifts, Monday through Sunday
-
Schedule flexibility is required; no block schedules
-
Weekend work as needed
-
No on-call requirements
-
Travelers must cover 2 of the following 4 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, and New Year's Day

Epic EMR used; experience within the past 2 years is required
-
RRT credential required; CRT will not be accepted

Minimum 1 year of clinical experience
-
Adult ICU and ED experience required
-
NICU Level III experience required; PICU experience preferred

Teaching hospital experience required
-
Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years required
-
Prior travel assignment experience preferred

Active certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP

NRP certification required for consideration

At least two professional references from a Nurse Manager and/or Supervisor (one within the past 6 months, one within the past year)

SSN and DOB required for consideration

Vermont license required if applicable; NY candidates may be considered with proof of a pending NY license

Provide respiratory therapy services across adult ICU, ED, and NICU Level III settings
-
All specialties worked must be thoroughly documented in employment history, including bed count, EMR, and facility type
-
Any employment gaps over 90 days must be explained in work history
-
NICU levels must be documented in work history
-
Bi-weekly orientations are held on Mondays
-
Public transportation is not accessible in this area; a personal or rental vehicle is strongly recommended
-
Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires from November through April
