Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 2+ years of adult critical care or ER experience for a night shift travel assignment at a Level II Trauma Center.

Details

  • 13-week travel assignment at a Level II Trauma Center with outpatient, interventional radiology, ER, and inpatient services
  • 571 total staffed beds across both campuses
  • Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30
  • Weekend work required
  • No on-call required
  • Floating between all facilities within the state is required; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
  • Charting via Epic (experience required)
  • Adult Critical Care and ER experience required; NICU experience preferred
  • Local candidates are not accepted

Requirements

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Adult Critical Care or ER
  • NICU experience preferred
  • Active RRT license required if applicable
  • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
  • NRP preferred
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Additional Information

  • Provide respiratory therapy services across a large multi-campus health system
  • Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed prior to or at the time of consideration; post-offer RTO requests may be denied
  • Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
  • Scrubs of any color are acceptable; reddish-orange scrubs are not permitted
  • Facility-paid parking
  • A minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting are required for consideration
