American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a night shift position requiring experience with adults, newborns, mechanical ventilation, and ABGs.

Night shift schedule: 3x12s, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
-
Experience with adult and newborn patient populations required
-
Involves mechanical ventilation management and arterial blood gas (ABG) interpretation
-
Respiratory therapist will attend deliveries; no NICU on site
-
Graduate of an approved Respiratory Therapy Program
-
Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC-RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (NBRC-CRT) credential preferred

Active, unrestricted Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license required if applicable

Minimum 2 years of experience in the submitted specialty

Recent experience required, having worked in the specialty within the last 3 months

Newborn experience is required

BLS (American Heart Association) required

NRP required at time of hire or within 90 days
-
ACLS (American Heart Association) required at time of hire or within 90 days

PALS (American Heart Association) required at time of hire or within 90 days

2 supervisor references required — one from within the past year, one from within the past 2 years

Candidates must have no prior hits on their license

Candidates with more than 5 days of RTO will not be considered

Skills checklist for the submitted specialty must have been completed within the past year
