Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with academic Level 1 Trauma Center experience for an evening/night shift position in a hospital respiratory/neuro diagnostics unit.

Details

• Inpatient hospital setting in a Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit
• Adult and pediatric patient population
• Evening and night shift hours: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM, 11:00 PM–7:30 AM, or 3:00 PM–11:30 PM
• 36 hours per week on 8- or 12-hour shifts
• Every other weekend rotation required
• Holiday coverage required
• One on-call shift per 6-week scheduling period
• Contract duration of 13 or 26 weeks, traveler's choice

Requirements

• WI Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license required; pending license at time of consideration is accepted
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• BLS required (American Heart Association only)
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a staff respiratory therapist
• Academic Level 1 Trauma Center or comparable size hospital experience required
• Graduation from a COARC-accredited Respiratory Therapy program required
• Pediatric and adult experience preferred

Additional Information

• Provide respiratory and neuro diagnostics services across evening and night shifts
• Must be prepared to cover holidays as part of the rotation
