Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with pulmonary function lab experience for a Monday–Friday day shift position at an academic medical center.

Details

• Pulmonary Function Lab setting within a large academic medical center
• Day shift schedule, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• 13-week contract
• Orientations are held bi-weekly
• Epic EMR (preferred)
• Local candidates within 75 miles of the facility are accepted

Requirements

• Current NC RRT license or Compact license in hand at time of consideration (license required if applicable)
• Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist (RPFT) certification required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience required; 2 years highly preferred
• Pulmonary function lab experience is required and must be documented in work history
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• 1 supervisory reference from within the last year required for consideration
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Flu vaccine required between October 31 and March 31 — no exemptions

Additional Information

• Perform pulmonary function testing and diagnostics as part of a specialized respiratory therapy team
• Candidates living within 75 miles of the facility are eligible at a modified pay rate
