Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with at least 1 year of Adult ICU experience for a large acute care hospital covering a wide range of departments including ICU, NICU, ED, and more.

Details

• Large acute care hospital with 507 beds and 57 bassinettes
• Registered Respiratory Therapy department operating on a 4 days on / 7 days off schedule
• Covers a broad range of areas including Adult ICU, Neurosurgical ICU, Regional NICU, Labor & Delivery, Medical/Surgical floors, and the ED
• Equipment used includes Drager ventilators, V60, V30, various CPAP/BiPAP units, vest therapy, MetaNeb, Airvo, Vapotherm, and NOxBox for Nitric Oxide
• Charting via Epic
• Any color scrubs permitted

Requirements

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute hospital setting with at least 1 year of Adult ICU experience
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• 2 supervisor or manager references from within the last year required for consideration
• Skills checklist completed within the last 12 months required for consideration
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Provide respiratory therapy services across a wide spectrum of care settings within a single facility, from critical care to med/surg
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are considered local and subject to a different pay rate
• Resume must reflect no gaps in work history
