American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) position requiring a minimum of 2 years of CVICU experience and rotating day/night shifts.

Work in a 24-bed Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic ICU that serves as a regional destination for comprehensive circulatory and respiratory support for critically ill adults
-
Specialized cases include open-heart surgeries, ventricular assist devices (VADs), heart and lung transplants, ECMO, aortic aneurysm repair, vascular and thoracic surgeries

Bedside modalities include vasoactive medications and complete cardiopulmonary support
-
Nurse-to-patient ratios are acuity-based and range from 2:1 to 1:1
-
Rotating day and night shifts (3x12-hour shifts); days: 7:00–19:30, nights: 19:00–7:30

Weekend work required per unit needs

Floating required within scope to meet unit needs

No on-call responsibilities

Charting is performed in Epic
-
Active CO RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand

Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required

Minimum 2 years of CVICU experience required

Navy scrubs required

Part of a multidisciplinary team focused on holistic health, supportive education, and improving patient outcomes

RTO is capped at 10 days maximum; RTO is not permitted during the following blackout periods: May 8–11, May 21–27, June 28–July 9, and September 2–12

Candidates living within 75 miles of the facility are eligible for consideration but will be placed at a local bill rate
