Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN - Case Manager for an Emergency Department-based Case Management position in Greensboro, NC, requiring a minimum of 2 years of RN experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Hospital Emergency Department setting in Greensboro, NC
• Case Management and Utilization Review unit
• Evening shift schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM (5x8s)
• No weekend shifts based on the Monday–Friday schedule
• Epic EMR — experience is mandatory

Requirements

• Active NC or Compact RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Acute hospital experience required
• Experience in at least one of the following specialties required: ICU, Med-Surg, PICU, SDU, PCU, IMC, or Observation
• Previous charge nurse experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Experience with CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services) regulations required
• Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include discharge planning, needs assessments, ordering DME, and developing plans of care
• All RNs must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during compliance, with two attempts allowed — candidates should prepare in advance as study materials are not provided by the facility
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel pay rate
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
