Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position at a Magnet-designated acute care hospital, requiring at least 2 years of experience and active IL and/or MO licensure.

Details

• Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab of a 222-bed Magnet-designated acute care hospital
• 4x10-hour day shifts, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM, with a rotating day off
• Some evening, weekend, and holiday on-call required; approximately 10 on-call shifts per month on a 24/7 basis
• Floating required between two campus locations (Memorial Belleville and Memorial East/Shiloh) based on facility need
• Sheath pulls are required as part of the role
• Experience with radial access and TR bands is preferred
• Epic EMR is used; experience with Epic is required
• Navy blue scrubs are required and will be provided
• No parking cost

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required; MO RN license required at time of consideration (pending IL license may be accepted — note this when applying)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience required
• Experience with Epic EMR required
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Block scheduling is not available for this position
• RTO is limited to 7 days per 13-week contract; no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
• Former permanent employees of any BJC facility must wait at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Travelers may remain at BJC facilities for up to 18 months, after which a 3-month break in service is required
• Local candidates (within 75 miles of the facility) are not eligible for this position
