Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in Hawaii, requiring a valid HI RN license and a minimum of 2 years of ER experience.

Details

• Work in a 28-bed Emergency Department that includes 4 trauma bays, 2 behavioral health rooms, and 22 cardiac monitor rooms
• Day shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours weekly)
• Fast-paced environment with high patient turnover

Requirements

• Active RN license in the State of Hawaii required by start of assignment (must apply upon acceptance of offer if not already in hand)
• Minimum 2 years of ER nursing experience required
• Required certifications: BLS/BCLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Preferred certifications: Procedural Sedation, TMCC, and EMPC

Additional Information

• All travelers must report to Employee Health 48–72 hours prior to the start of assignment at Hilo Employee Health; plan to arrive in Hawaii by the Thursday before a Monday start to attend a Friday morning Employee Health appointment
