American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a minimum of 2 years of ED experience and Epic proficiency, with night shifts and a Level 2 Trauma preferred background.

Emergency Department (ED) setting in a hospital environment
-
Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
-
2 weekend shifts or 4 weekend days required per 6-week schedule
-
Holiday coverage required as needed

No on-call responsibilities

Level 2 Trauma center experience preferred
-
Epic EMR experience required
-
Active NC or compact RN license required
-
Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

Preferred certifications: CPI, PALS, and TNCC
-
Minimum 2 years of ED RN experience required

Epic EMR proficiency is mandatory

Previous Charge RN experience preferred

Driver's license required for consideration

Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate

All RNs must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during compliance, with two attempts allowed — candidates should prepare in advance as study materials are not provided by the facility
