Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position at a major hospital campus, requiring a minimum of 18 months of permanent ER experience and an OH or compact RN license in hand.

Details

• Work in the Emergency Department (ER) of a large hospital campus
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (3x12-hour shifts)
• Every other holiday coverage required

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact state license currently in hand
• Minimum 18 months of permanent (non-travel) ER experience required — non-negotiable
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• TNCC certification preferred
• A valid driver's license and Social Security card are required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration

• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments are completed during orientation; acceptable scores on both are required
• Candidates who have previously worked at this health system must wait a minimum of 6 months after a prior assignment before being eligible to return
