Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position in Ardmore, OK, requiring 2+ years of ED experience and active BLS and ACLS certifications.

Details

• Emergency Department (ED) setting at a full-service tertiary hospital with 190 licensed beds
• Day shift schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 3x12
• 13-week contract
• EMR: Epic
• No float, weekend, or on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active OK or Compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of assignment unless renewal is documented)
• Minimum 2 years of recent ED experience required
• Valid U.S. Social Security Number required; Canadian SINs are not accepted
• No employment gaps of 90+ days within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Responsible for assessing emergency patients and planning, organizing, and implementing individualized care in alignment with ED policies and procedures
• Provides supervision to ER Techs, Orderlies, and Ancillary personnel as needed
• PALS and TNCC certifications are preferred
• Flu vaccination is required for all travelers; exemptions must be client-approved
• Scrub color: Black
• Up to 5 days of RTO is allowed but must be made up during the assignment
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but subject to a reduced bill rate; local candidates are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts before a 1-year separation or reassignment outside the radius is required
