American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for an Emergency Department position at a Level I Trauma Center, requiring a minimum of 2 years of travel experience and recent ER experience.

Work setting is a short-term acute care hospital with a Level I Trauma Center

Emergency Department (ER) unit
-
Night shift schedule, 4x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)

On-call required as needed

Weekend work required as needed

Cerner EMR experience preferred

Floating between like units and campuses within 20 miles may be required, though cross-campus floating is rare
-
Active RN license — TN state license or Compact (NLC) license required; no pending licensure accepted

Minimum 2 years of recent ER travel nursing experience required (3+ years preferred)

Level I Trauma Center experience required

Large hospital experience preferred

Must be willing to work 48 hours when needed

Current Driver's License required for consideration

Candidate must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible

First-time travelers are not accepted unless the candidate has 3+ years of recent ER experience and at least one completed prior travel assignment

All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront — RTO will not be approved if not included at the time of initial consideration

If Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's all fall within the assignment period, the traveler must be willing to work at least 2 of the 3 holidays; if only 2 of those holidays fall within the assignment, at least 1 must be worked

An ADN is the minimum required education level for this position

Former permanent employees or internal associate travelers must have been separated for at least one year before returning as a traveler

Vaccination status must be provided for consideration
