American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position at a critical access hospital, requiring dual ED and Med-Surg capability with 2+ years of experience.

Critical access hospital setting with an average daily census of 17-18 patients
-
Position requires working in both the Emergency Department and Med-Surg/Acute Care units
-
Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (18:00–06:30)
-
Every other weekend requirement
-
On-call requirement: 2 call shifts per month, covering 05:00–19:00 for either days or nights in the ED or Acute Care
-
Call shifts end at 19:00 if full staffing is confirmed
-
No floating requirement outside of the dual ED/Med-Surg expectation
-
Medication dispensing via Pyxis
-
Documentation via T-System
-
Active CO or compact RN license required
-
Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
-
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required

Experience working in both Emergency Department and Med-Surg settings required
-
Critical access hospital experience strongly preferred
-
Must reside within a 1-hour radius of the facility to fulfill on-call obligations
-
Candidate will provide nursing care across both the ED and Acute Care/Med-Surg units as needed
