American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a minimum of 2 years of ER experience, TNCC certification, and Cerner proficiency.

Fast-paced Emergency Department setting treating a broad patient population including urgent care, psych, pediatric, and critical care/trauma patients
-
Nurses manage critical care skills including medication titrations, arterial lines, mass blood transfusions, and chest tubes
-
Experience with stroke, STEMI, and critical care patients with drips is highly valued
-
Schedule is 3x12-hour night shifts starting at 7p
-
Every other weekend is required

Cerner EMR experience is required

Active FL or Compact RN license required (no pending licenses)

Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH Stroke Scale — AHA-issued certifications only

CPI certification is required for this position

Minimum 2 years of ER experience in a U.S. hospital required

Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program required

BSN highly desired

Valid U.S. SSN required

Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the previous 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer

Coordinates and delivers care to patients with complex nursing needs, ensuring safety, quality, and a positive patient experience

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position
