American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring prior travel experience, high-volume ED background, and triage experience.

Fast-paced Emergency Department (ED) setting
-
Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)

Every other weekend required
-
Every other holiday required
-
Floating within skillset required

Cerner EMR experience required
-
Active MD or Compact RN license required
-
Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS

Minimum 2 years of ED nursing experience required
-
Prior travel nursing experience required
-
Triage experience required
-
Within the past 8 months, candidate must have worked in an ED with a minimum of 45,600 annual visits (approximately 125/day)

Cerner EMR experience required

Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms

Two professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration

Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration

Provide emergency nursing care including triage to a high-acuity patient population
