Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring prior travel experience, high-volume ED background, and triage experience.

Details

• Fast-paced Emergency Department (ED) setting
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required
• Floating within skillset required
• Cerner EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active MD or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of ED nursing experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Triage experience required
• Within the past 8 months, candidate must have worked in an ED with a minimum of 45,600 annual visits (approximately 125/day)
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms
• Two professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
