Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position requiring ACLS, BLS, PALS, and CPI certifications with a minimum of 2 years of ED experience.

Details

  • Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
  • Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (18:45–07:15)
  • On-call required every other weekend

Requirements

  • Active Louisiana (LA) or Compact RN license currently in hand
  • Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and CPI — all must be AHA-issued
  • Minimum of 2 years of ED/ER nursing experience required

Additional Information

  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Candidates must reside 65+ miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
  • Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed and discussed during the interview process
  • In the event of an emergency or disaster, you may be assigned to an Emergency Team and expected to remain at the facility until the event passes or serve as part of a relief team — candidates uncomfortable with this expectation should not apply
