American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a GI/Endoscopy position in a hospital GI Lab setting, requiring an active MT or Compact RN license and at least one year of GI specialty experience.

Hospital-based Gastrointestinal (GI) Lab setting

Day shift, 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week, 40 hours per week

13-week contract

Epic EMR used for charting

Active MT RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand (no pending licenses)

Current certifications required: BLS and ACLS — both must be issued by the American Heart Association and must not expire prior to assignment start

Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (ASN or higher)

Minimum 1 year of GI/Endoscopy specialty experience required

Medical-surgical background with strong assessment skills required

Endoscopy experience preferred

DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individual patient care in the GI Lab in accordance with unit policies and procedures

Collects, analyzes, and organizes patient care data to inform and revise the plan of care

Directs coworkers in the implementation of patient care plans

Performs patient and family education, discharge planning, and outcome documentation

Candidates who have been permanent staff at any Intermountain facility must have been separated for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
